Vanuit onze cottage zijn de historische plaatsen Volendam, Edam, Marken, Alkmaar en de Rijp in 15 auto minuten bereikbaar. De smaakvol ingerichte 2 persoonskamer biedt U een uitstekende accommodatie en volledig privacy. U kunt ontbijten wanneer U dat schikt!

The Beemster Cottage
If you want to visit the best part of Holland and its sparkling capital Amsterdam, stay at the Beemster Cottage. From here you can enjoy the impressive beauty of the Dutch landscape and the charmes of Amsterdam. This Bed and Breakfast is situated in the Beemster polder, UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE, at the foot of its ring-dike. Yet Amsterdam is only about 30 minutes away by car or public transport. There are some windmills close by and in July and August there are the cheese markets at Alkmaar and Edam. In the first weeks of May you are surrounded by tulip-fields. The historic places Volendam, Marken, Edam and Hoorn can be reached within 20 minutes and the North-sea beach within 45 minutes. The famous open-air museums the Zaanse Schans and Zuiderzee Museum are also nearby.

You can have your breakfast whenever you like. In the room you will find a kitchen with a refrigerator, filled with fresh food, coffee and tea making facilities, a microwave oven, an egg cooker and a toaster. The tastefully furnished room, 25 m2, with 2 beds, central heating in winter, a private bathroom ( WC, shower and washbasin ) provides a unique accommodation and full privacy. (separate entrance) Great cycling area and free bikes. Good sport-fishing at the Wadden-sea. Rent-a-canoe is nearby. No smoking inside the cottage. No dogs.
